The Maryland Daily Record is seeking a legal reporter to cover the practice of law and legal education. A leading source of news and information for the state’s legal community, The Daily Record serves a niche audience that demands sophisticated coverage of key cases and decisions that shape the practice of law. Our coverage also covers trends in the profession, such as new specialties; disciplinary actions and oversight; and the state’s two law schools. The reporter also spells the other legal reporters, who cover trial and appellate courts and civil litigation. Candidates must know how to find compelling stories and should have a strong working knowledge of the law.
