Legg Mason is seeking a Global Fixed Income Product Marketer to position Legg Mason’s capabilities in fixed-income strategies. Here, you will research competitive trends in fixed-income strategies and drive marketing initiatives related to those strategies, ensuring there is a clear and compelling marketing message, including investment process, portfolio positioning and rationale for each covered portfolio. You will collaborate with other Global Marketing and Communications (GMAC) colleagues and act as a liaison on asset class specific matters between our affiliate’s marketing organisations and GMAC’s US and International Editors. You will liaise with Product Specialists, Compliance, and other departments to help with content and address potential issues. Must be able to think outside the box about marketing complex strategies and act nimbly, adjusting as business needs evolve. The Product Marketer acts as the central marketing authority for relevant strategies and has a strong understanding of the markets relating to their respective strategies. The Product Marketer must be perceived as a credible source of investment related information pertaining to their covered strategies and have a thorough understanding of all content available globally to promote the respective strategies.
