Purpose of the role
MLex is looking for a seasoned journalist to cover antitrust regulatory risk in the US.
Responsibilities
To break exclusive stories and writing forward-looking commentary and analysis on emerging situations in antitrust regulation.
To be a point of contact for the outside world, particularly the US, representing MLex's US antitrust coverage in the press, and to subscribers among the legal and, occasionally, fund management readership.
Increase quality and quantity of US antitrust breaking news and commentary.
Cement MLex's reputation among legal and financial readers as the go-to outlet for news and commentary on regulatory antitrust situations.
Requirements
An ability to break exclusive news day in, day out.
An ability to pursue hard-to-get information from evasive sources.
An ability to build and maintain a network of sources in the regulatory community.
An ability to train and inspire others, by leading by example and through soft-management skills.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for California. Base Salary Range: 60,700.00USD - 101,100.00USD
