LGBTQ Writers (TTRPG Adventure)

Calling LGBTQ+ Writers: Mimicnomicon has a pride adventure coming for pride month, and I'm looking for a writer to join me. Pay is 12c/word USD. This 5e TTRPG adventure is about the struggle of coming out, but the wholesome safety of Mimiclandia. Applications close end of day January 26th.

MIMICNOMICON: LGBTQ+ ADVENTURE WRITING

For Pride Month 2024, the Mimicnomicon team plans on releasing a bundle - a packet of mimics and an adventure using some of those mimics. The team is majority focusing on creating the mimics, so you would be writing alongside the creator, Angela Lammie (@the_angiroo), who has the overall storyline, NPCs, etc. This is a 5e adventure, and the pay is 12 cents per word USD with payment upon final completion. Our Mimicnomicon editor, Hannah Strang (@featherfallflyt), will be helping edit this adventure. The art above is not official, but should give you the general idea.

We will be prioritizing LGBTQ+ members as this adventure relates to the difficulty and struggle of coming out, but the wholesome safety of Mimiclandia. Mimiclandia is the world our team named where all our future adventures for Mimicnomicon will take place.

If you are unfamiliar with Mimicnomicon, it is an anthology of unique mimics that will populate a host of settings, medieval to the modern and beyond. Each packet focuses on one location where all the mimics in its pages might be found. However, that doesn't mean you have to use those mimics only in the packet location - in fact, each one will have a list of other places they might be found included in their entry! Each entry has a 5e-compatible stat block with unique monster mechanics, two descriptions (for concealed and revealed), and several GM aids to help you seamlessly incorporate our mimics in your game. Consult the table of contents at the start of each packet to help you find the mimic that’s right for you!
