This reporter’s primary role will include, but not be limited to, covering the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, Congressional Black Caucus, Congressional Pacific American Caucus and Congressional Progressive Caucus and how they reflect larger communities and interests in California and across the nation. The reporter will also be responsible for reporting on the issues and news of other relevant caucuses, including the LGBT Caucus and Freedom Caucus. The target caucuses include many members of the California delegation. The state is also home to some of the nation’s largest Latino, Black and Middle Eastern constituencies.
