New Posted 9 December 2022 | New York, NY | MailOnline

Applications are now invited for the DailyMail.com journalism training scheme which will begin in July 2023. Our trainees embark on a two-year long programme that involves intense training, assessment and on-the-job experience at our New York office. When the programme is complete, there is an opportunity to apply to work in the London or Sydney offices. DailyMail.com is part of UK-based MailOnline - the world’s largest English-language newspaper website reaching over 225 million unique monthly visitors globally, with 75 million coming from the United States. We are looking for young journalists with broad interests who want to cover national and international news at a fast pace for a global audience. The successful applicants will probably have a degree and will have shown a commitment to journalism by writing for their student newspaper/website and gained work experience in newsrooms. The course starts with an intensive in-house training month. After that the trainees will join the newsroom and work alongside experienced editors producing daily stories. The starting salary is $50,000 a year.

To apply send a covering letter, your resume and the three best examples of your work to sue.ryan@dailymail.co.uk by Friday January 20. Interviews will be held in February and the training will begin in New York on July 24.
