Managing Editor

Looking for a news leader and coach who's ethical, organized and driven. The Saline Courier, an award-winning, community-focused news organization in fast-growing central Arkansas is located in Benton and has served Saline County since 1876. The Saline Courier publishes news online daily and in a print Tuesday through Saturday. Horizon also oversees Arkansas publications in Malvern, Forrest City and Marianna as well as Starkville and West Point, Mississippi. This position manages a team of multi-media journalists responsible for producing community news for multiple publications and websites. The Managing Editor is quick to build sources and contacts - vital to gathering verifiable local news. Additionally, the managing editor is a training mentor for the professional reporters who also teaches ethical journalism and the importance of trusted news organizations to the communities they serve.
