We want to add an experienced generalist writer to our team. You’ll join a team of writers and editors who produce high-quality, creative marketing content for our clients in various channels, including direct response, email, social media, web, and print.

IMPORTANT: This is a remote writing position. The sole focus is writing content — all day, every day— for marketing materials, social media, video scripts, social media, blog posts, ads, and more. The writer we hire will need to be an expert in quickly researching new topics, distilling complex information and business jargon into easy-to-read communications, and managing multiple deadlines at once.

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in writing for financial and healthcare brands. We’ll ask you for samples, so be prepared to show us your best work!

Responsibilities:

Create compelling headlines and succinct, engaging content
Create thoughtful, exciting concepts that give life to our clients’ brands
Write effectively for a variety of formats
Write to meet assigned word counts
Cross-check content with client brand and style guidelines
Proofread to correct spelling, usage, and grammatical errors
Write, edit, and/or rewrite copy as requested by clients or project managers
Develop visual components like callouts, infographics, tables
Check digital layouts and make appropriate edits

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, journalism, or related field
3+ years relevant experience
A portfolio of relevant work samples
Cover letter and resume
