Economic Pulse gives the audience insight into the ways that the economy affects all Americans by highlighting a range of experiences. From the fast-food worker experiencing homelessness to the trucker turned serial entrepreneur, you’ll hear these narratives and more on this Marketplace Morning Report (MMR) segment.
The Economic Pulse Intern will pore through the MMR archives to create a trackable database of past contributors. The intern will assist the MMR production staff in locating, booking, and interviewing a diverse group of guests that illustrate how the economy is (or is not) working from where they’re situated.
The role is part of an effort to improve internal record keeping systems in preparation for migration to the Pyramid system. That system will store metadata useful for placing content across platforms and critical to delivering accurate results in online searches. It will also include contact and demographic information useful for internal monitoring.
