Investor’s Business Daily seeks a Special Reports Editor to oversee all stages of producing special content packages on topics including personal finance, stocks, funds and financial advisors, as well as to write articles on these or other subjects. Our journalists serve an audience of self-directed investors, delivering news, stock analysis, market insights and educational content that helps them make more money in the stock market. This position is expected to be remote; however, working from IBD’s Los Angeles headquarters also is an option. IBD produces a number of special reports throughout the year that run both on its Investors.com website and in the IBD Weekly newspaper. Subjects include mutual funds, ETFs, financial advisors, retirement, brokerages, fintech and ESG. Many of the reports are built around unique IBD lists that are based on objective data and designed to help investors make smart financial choices. The Special Reports Editor is responsible for all facets of planning and editorial production, ensuring coverage objectives, quality standards and deadlines are met. You will also write some articles of your own. The ideal candidate will bring excellent writing, editing and organizational skills, along with a strong understanding of finance and investing. You’ll be able to participate in the success of IBD’s content through various incentives and to contribute ideas on creating new content that will help readers invest successfully.
