This position leads all efforts in planning, implementing, managing and evaluating Dillard earned and paid media strategy, with a particular focus pro-actively pitching to local, national and international news media the university’s faculty and staff as subject matter sources/experts. In addition, this position creates graphics and videos, takes photographs, as well as writes content to amplify the University’s brand. This position manages a team of staff, consultants, and agencies to support faculty and staff research centers and grant-funded programs including Center for Racial Justice, the NIH Minority Health and Health Equity Research Center, National Center for Black and Jewish Relations, the Ray Charles Program for Material Culture.
