Metric Marketing is looking for a detail-oriented content writer with industry knowledge of digital marketing. This is a contract position, and this role will be responsible for writing marketing copy and completing assignments according to prompts on time and according to schedule.
You will report to the Content Manager, who will rely on you to write and format according to instructions for each assignment.

Job Summary
This role is responsible for writing various types of copy including website pages, emails, blogs, press releases, marketing materials, and social media posts for Metric Marketing about marketing tactics, best practices, and strategies. This is a project-based, contract position. The initial workload will vary and will increase based on your availability and increased client workload.
Write a variety of short-form and long-form copy for digital and print (social media, newsletters, blogs, whitepapers, etc.)
Integrate SEO elements into content
Research new topics for content pieces
Contribute new ideas for future publications
Create content calendars

Proficiency or knowledge in marketing tools like CRMs, social media management platforms, and email marketing software

Ability to communicate well via Slack, Zoom, and our project management tool (Teamwork)
Ability to collaborate with other writers and editors
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years of digital marketing or content marketing experience
