MIT Technology Review is seeking ambitious beat reporters to provide coverage of important emerging technologies. We are especially interested in international candidates, as we look to expand our international coverage. We are looking for specialists, in all sorts of fields—so we'd like to hear what you want to cover. We're interested in reporters who might take on clean energy, climate change mitigation and adaptation, artificial intelligence, space, blockchain and decentralized finance, robotics, neuroscience, healthcare, computing, or bioscience. But really, we want to hear from you. Tell us the beat you think we are missing, and that you can cover better than anyone else. The beat reporter’s coverage should make TR a must-read by combining scoops, deep enterprise reporting, timely stories about major news events, and sharp analysis. The successful candidate will bring curiosity and rigor to their reporting. They will both possess an understanding of both the technologies they cover, and the businesses and people attempting to commercialize them. They will be excited about the promise technology offers to change the world, while remaining skeptical of its claims until they are proved out.
