Senior Writer

We’re looking for someone to join MIT Technology Review’s team of senior writers. We cover emerging tech, not consumer tech, so if you want to write about the latest gadgets, apps or software upgrades, this job isn’t for you. Rather, we’re looking for people who can identify the technologies that are coming next and report on them and all their implications for the world we live in.

Our goal is to find the best journalist we can, so we’re open to people who cover any area of technology, including generalists. We’re especially interested in getting more coverage of computing (encompassing everything from human-computer interfaces to quantum computing), robotics, manufacturing, materials, medical technology, neuroscience, gaming, the tech industry, and online culture. We prefer experienced journalists, but we’ll also consider non-journalist experts who are talented writers. When you apply, tell us what your ideal beat would be.
