Reporting Fellowship

Modern Healthcare, the preeminent national source for healthcare business news, is seeking an entry-level journalist for a one-year reporting fellowship. The position will be part-time (under 30 hours per week), and based in our Chicago headquarters. The fellow will cover a variety of healthcare business news topics for Modern Healthcare’s website and its magazine. The reporter will supplement our core coverage by reporting and writing on breaking news that would be required reading for our core audience of industry executives and policymakers. There also will be opportunities for deeper analytical reporting, enterprise stories, podcasts and videos. This position will give the fellow opportunities to break stories in the hotly competitive healthcare journalism space and develop sources in the industry.
