National Assistant Editor

Broadsheet Media is looking for a national assistant editor to join our editorial team. You will report to Broadsheet’s national editor and work closely with a team of editors to ensure Broadsheet delivers on its promise to be the best resource on city culture in Australia, with oversight of Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, as well as contributing to national news and features. The successful candidate will provide creative input and editorial support to the national editor and other city editors; support production of national content, including writing and commissioning; ensure a pipeline of engaging, insightful and accurate stories about culture and city life in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, as well as other cultural hubs in those states (the Gold Coast, Margaret River and South Australia’s wine regions, for example). This is a key role within Broadsheet and an opportunity to have a significant impact at one of Australia’s most recognised, reputable and innovative digital publishers.
