NACD is the premier association for corporate directors and boards in the country, delivering education, insights, and services to advance strong governance among US corporations and the directors who serve them. In addition to the fundamental tenants of high-performing boards, our current work is deeply focused on DE&I, climate change, human capital, and leadership in the boardroom. Our editorial work, including Directorship magazine, online articles for NACD’s website, and our podcast, bring to life these themes and their implications for the American board community through storytelling. The assistant editor works closely with the editor-in-chief to produce Directorship magazine and online articles, focusing specifically on articles and content development. The assistant editor also uses original and innovative thinking in the development, pitching, reporting, and preparation of stories for publication in both the print magazine and articles that appear on www.nacdonline.org. The assistant editor will also have some administrative duties for the storytelling department, which includes uploading magazine and online content to the NACD website and may include scheduling guests for the NACD podcast.
