The digital news content producer creates original news content and works with staff reporters and freelancers to deliver their content across digital platforms. The position will help grow the digital skills of newsroom staff to serve new and existing audiences and finding ways to broaden the reach of Nebraska Public Media News. The ideal candidate is a digitally savvy journalist who has a passion for storytelling, a strong understanding of digital media, and an understanding of how to best use strong visuals.
This collaborative journalist will serve our digital audience by producing, editing, and publishing content on various platforms including websites, e-newsletters, social media, and podcasts using common digital analytics tools to report out results and to make changes to improve reach and impact.
Reporting to the News Director, the position is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day online/digital presence of Nebraska Public Media News ensuring all digital content is optimized for search results, meets style-guide standards, and aligns with Nebraska Public Media editorial standards.
