Employ analytics to make informed decisions about future story selections, ensuring new insights on popular subjects.
You will be expected to work some weekend shifts and occasionally outside of regular hours to provide coverage for special events.


Who are you?

You are a successful news reporter, boasting a minimum of five years of experience in a bustling digital newsroom.
Preferably, you possess court reporting experience, which is considered advantageous.
Your passion lies in uncovering breaking stories and securing exclusive perspectives on the prevalent topics dominating the national agenda.
You are highly motivated, brimming with innovative ideas, and benefit from a robust network of contacts that facilitate the breaking of major stories.
Your strong writing skills are complemented by a keen understanding of how to leverage headlines and images to captivate readers, with a strong desire for widespread readership being essential.
Possessing sound legal knowledge, you are adept at working independently and sourcing your own stories.
You exhibit an interest in actively engaging with and taking ownership of the finance topics that appeal to news.com.au readers.
You have a comprehensive understanding of SEO principles and analytics, allowing you to optimize your content for maximum reach and impact.
