Senior Sub Editor

Do you have an exceptional eye for detail? Do you love being creative with words? Are you a stickler for all things spelling and grammar?
Medium Rare Content Agency has an opening for a full-time senior subeditor to join the Coles team, working on both print and digital content. The ideal candidate will have:

at least 4 years’ experience in a subediting and/or proofreading role
excellent attention to detail
clever and creative writing skills
experience writing and adapting print copy for the digital space
the ability to manage and work to deadlines
good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
no problem in taking direction
a strong work ethic
a love for working in a fun, fast-paced team environment.

Food knowledge and subbing experience is preferable.

Who are you?

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

Managing the sub editing and workflow for Coles magazine insert pages across food and lifestyle topics
Writing metadoc copy for the Coles website
Subediting magazine layouts
Proofreading campaign documents
