Digital Audience and Content Editor

We are looking for a digital audience and content editor to help drive Newsquest Suffolk to the next level. Is digital story-telling your passion? Can you use Google Trends, Crowdtangle as well as tools such as Chartbeat and Parse.ly, to make sure our reporting team is achieving their potential? Then you could be the person we are looking for at the East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star. We are looking for someone who is creative, digitally savvy, understand the needs and pressures of a modern newsroom and wants to help us deliver the best possible content to our audience. You will need to be able to develop our reporters by motivating and mentoring them and helping them get the very best out of their stories online to help us grow our websites and social platforms. The ideal candidates would already be working on a newsdesk or could be experienced senior reporters looking for the next step up. Either way, online reporting should be at the heart of what you do.
