The Northern Echo, Newsquest's flagship daily title, is looking for a top-class reporter to join the Great Daily of the North. For more than 150 years, The Northern Echo has been setting the agenda with hard-hitting investigations and campaigns and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious journalist to join our team. You will be covering vibrant patches in Teesside and North Yorkshire, where you will use your passion for digital storytelling to unearth amazing stories. We are looking for a qualified senior report or an outstanding trainee (with NCTJ prelims, including shorthand) looking to cut their teeth on one of the biggest regional news brands in the UK. A full driving licence and access to a car are essential.
