Newsweek is seeking an experienced investigative journalist who can produce ambitious enterprise. Database skills would be a plus.
The ideal candidate is a strong reporter and writer who can tackle a wide range of issues, both from an investigative and explanatory perspective, collaborate with other reporters on projects and produce stories unique to Newsweek. They should be nimble enough to respond to stories off the news, but the focus of the beat will be longer-term enterprise that has an investigative/explanatory bent to it.
This is a full-time position and while our global headquarters is based in New York, this position can be fully remote anywhere in the U.S.
Requirements:
Proven track record of producing high-end investigative
At least 10 years of experience though candidates with less experience may still be considered if they can showcase a strong portfolio of work
Strong organizational skills and able to collaborate with a digital team
