7 PM News Producer

While other tv news operations shrink, we are expanding and now looking for a competitive and creative producer for our new one-hour 7pm newscast here at FOX8. You’ll be taking over the expanded newscast filled with breaking news, enterprise stories, and a team full of journalists who want to win the day. So be ready to not only maintain excellence but grow the audience. There’s plenty of support here with award-winning reporters and photojournalists all working to put on the best news product for our viewer.

Requirements:

2 years TV news producing
Journalism degree
Knowledge of AP Style
Good communicator and collaborator

Duties:

Produce and write 7pm newscast
Work with anchors on presentation
Consult with art department on graphics
May be asked to fill-in on other shifts
