Lifestyle Show Videographer & Editor

NBC4 in Columbus has an immediate opening for an innovative, creative and experienced Videographer/Editor to work with our Lifestyle program Daytime Columbus. We are looking for an exceptional professional with a creative eye and strong non-linear editing skills. The ideal candidate can work independently or on a team to develop and execute various projects.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

Work closely with department manager, show producer, host and reporter to produce on-location client segments for live broadcast
Must have strong videography and non-linear editing skills
Develop shoot plans, set ups, composition and execution
Push the creative envelope to new levels while maintaining brand guidelines
Extensive knowledge of and proven experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
Working knowledge of lighting and audio gear
Assist with additional station initiatives or other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years of professional videography
Demo reel required
Detail oriented
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneous
Flexibility to adjust hours and work some overtime.
Excellent communication skills
