As weekend news anchor, you will anchor all newscasts that air on Saturday and Sunday, as well as become the primary fill-in anchor during the week. Job Description:

Multi-level content anchor/reporter, with platforms that include TV, internet and mobile
Enterprise and develop stories for air and digital
Demonstrate compelling storytelling with active live shots, stand-ups, and creative graphics
Understand how to gather, write, and present complex information into understandable stories
Build a rolodex of sources to stay ahead of competitors
Take part in special reports, election coverage and other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Journalism or related degree required (equivalent years of may substitute for education)
1 year television experience required
Solid newsroom citizen, strong everyday good attitude, promoter of teamwork
Solid vocal delivery and clear enunciation a must
Strong reporting skills
Understand importance of social media
Excellent reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and organizational skills
Proficient in ENPS, Adobe Premier and Teams
