The New York Post’s print edition seeks a Copy Editor (Wednesday – Sunday, Nights/Weekends) who can write witty headlines, compose clever captions, make seamless trims and scour copy for style, clarity, spelling and grammar — all under intense deadline pressure.

Note: The schedule for this position will be Wednesday – Sunday, 4pm-12am. Saturday shift will be 2pm-10pm.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or a related field
A minimum of two years of experience in copy editing within a newsroom
Familiarity with AP style and knowledge of The New York Post’s style and standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $33,300 – $125,000
