ON_Discourse is a new membership media company focused on the business of technology, prioritizing expert-driven discourse to drive perspectives. We seek an experienced and dynamic Social Media Editor to join our team. Our mission is to elevate the level of discourse surrounding the business of technology by providing expert-driven perspectives to our diverse audience.
As the Social Media Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping and growing our membership base and engaging with our target audience. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to attract, retain, and deepen relationships with our members.
This position requires a strong understanding of the technology industry and a passion for fostering meaningful conversations that drive insightful discussions.

Responsibilities:
Work with our creative director to develop visual social assets that reflect our brand in a dynamic and engaging way.
Develop a posting strategy for social content and write social copy that will excite and provoke audiences to engage with our content and raise awareness of our brand.
Develop and execute audience acquisition and retention strategies to drive membership growth and engagement.
Plan, schedule, and publish social media assets across our third-party platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
Utilize data-driven insights and market research to identify target audience segments, refine personas, and optimize content strategy.
Collaborate with the content team to develop compelling and relevant content that resonates with our audience.
Implement and manage marketing campaigns across various channels to reach and engage the target audience.
Lead the development and execution of community-building initiatives, including online events and forums, to foster a sense of belonging among members.
Work closely with the product and technology teams to improve user experience and leverage analytics to measure and optimize engagement.
Monitor trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, thought leaders, and partners to expand the reach and impact of ON_Discourse.
Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in audience development, community management, and the media industry to drive innovation within the organization.
