About the role.

We have an opportunity for a talented writer and sub editor to work on the PA Betting Services Daily News Briefing, a pivotal daily newsletter for the betting and gaming industry.

Responsibilities include curating, producing, and editing content with a focus on the business side of the sector. This role demands the ability to identify key stories, create concise and informative content, with a particular emphasis on breaking news and financial results.

This role is 100% remote, Monday to Friday 06.00-14.00.

Who you are.

You will need to be an experienced content writer, preferably with a background in sport, racing, betting, or business. However, we welcome candidates with strong writing ability and a keen curiosity to learn.

Qualities required include a strong news/business sense, judgment to identify interesting stories, and excellent sub-editing skills. An NCTJ or equivalent qualification is necessary to ensure fast, fair, and accurate copy.

This role demands working to strict deadlines, requiring self-motivation and effective time management.
