The successful candidate will be immersed in our team for eight weeks as a sports reporter. The internship program is designed to be a springboard for a talented individual with demonstrated interest and skills in reporting, storytelling and video. As a Sports Intern, you'll report directly to an editor and have the opportunity to make significant contributions to PA Media Group as well as the larger community through our highly-engaged audience -- we reach 10 million unique visitors a month and are the state's leader in Penn State and high school sports coverage. If you have exceptional writing skills and familiarity with web publishing tools, this could be the summer job you're looking for. Our interns don't fetch coffee; they create content and build audiences through engaging stories on high-value topics. This means you should have the ability to work under tight deadlines and appropriately prioritize tasks. You'll write/post with frequency and urgency.
