Account Executive - Corporate Communications
Padilla is seeking an Account Executive (AE) to work primarily within our Corporate Advisory Group – supporting our Financial Communications, Critical Issues Management, Employee Engagement and Community Relations teams. An AE exhibits capabilities in the fundamentals of marketing communications and public relations. It is an important position in the company, providing a great deal of experience that grooms and prepares an individual for a successful career in business communications. An AE’s responsibilities can include defining and organizing work, writing and editing copy, conducting marketing research and analyzing data, managing digital and social media programs, reporting and documenting campaign results, pitching stories to media, establishing and monitoring client budgets and establishing good working relationships with clients, the media and vendors. They also oversee client and company initiatives implemented by assistant account executives (AAE) and interns. In addition, the AE needs to be able to manage up - ensuring their supervisors are doing their part to support job performance and meeting commitments. The job requires strong communication and listening skills, excellent writing skills, time management and the curiosity to want to learn about our clients’ businesses.
