Consumer Focus™ Marketing is looking for a part-time marketing copywriter to assist in the production of digital marketing materials for client and company promotions including writing and proofing for websites, blog posts, email campaigns, social media posts, and more. The position is available immediately. Consumer Focus is a unique B2B product-service marketing company that specializes in providing services to the energy industry. The copywriter will work closely with the company’s Creative Director, Marketing Copywriter, and marketing team on a variety of projects. This is a part time position for 10-15 hours/week.
Responsibilities:
Write, research, and develop original content for digital and print marketing mediums such as websites, blogs, email campaigns, landing pages, social media posts, and newsletters
Edit existing copy using feedback from consultants and clients
Proofread and edit marketing materials for correct grammar, consistency, and accuracy
Utilize internal style guides and adhere to company standards for content creation
Communicate with copywriters and designers throughout the drafting process
Requirements:
2+ years of copywriting experience with references (marketing firm or ad agency preferred)
Knowledge and application of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation using a combination of Chicago Style and house style
Motivation to learn in a fast-paced environment
Must be detail-oriented and able to evaluate work independently for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established content development criteria
Ability to create and follow processes for accurate, timely, and efficient project production within the team
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work as a team and independently
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or related major completed or in progress
Knowledge of SEO best practices and/or WordPress is a plus
