Position Description:
We believe remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and creative thinking add up to great work. We’re looking for a creative thinker with excellent writing and research skills to help us elevate that work as a part-time copywriter. As a member of the creative team, our copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including print, video, and digital), working closely with the accounts and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. You will be able to think holistically about the client experience bringing their well-being program to life.
You should be comfortable working with an iterative writing process, partnering with the creative team, marketing communications, and custom communications, and considering feedback from multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands.
Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences.
Write original copy and edit content for a range of communications materials.
Collaborate with a team of account strategists and creative staff from concept development to delivery of the final product.
Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team, and to client representatives as needed, and participate in client pitches on occasion.
Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction.
Work closely with Marketing leadership to plan and execute a strategy that drives high client engagement.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to create and produce content.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.
Minimum 4-5 years of professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work.
Exceptional writing, research skills, content development, and proofing experience.
Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
Requires flexibility, attention to detail, a keen eye for brand consistency, and a desire to be successful.
Experience in the health and well-being field.
Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
