The Director of Marketing will oversee a team responding for channel marketing (website, email, retail/ATM) and lead all brand, social, content and PR efforts for the organization. This person will thrive on leading teams and lead with confidence, compassion, balanced with a zest for delivery results. As the VP, of Marketing’s back up, this person must be a master juggler and comfortable with shifting priorities and focus areas. This role will work strategically with VP, Marketing to identify and execute key marketing strategies to support member engagement, increase retention and ensure maximum impact through Patelco owned channels (website, salesforce marketing cloud, retail, social, ATM). Given the fast paced ever changing dynamics of our business, this person needs to be very comfortable pivoting and managing a variety of enterprise needs. Bringing a balance of strong critical thinking, with an eye for compelling content and creative is key to maximizing marketing impact. Working together with the VP of Marketing, this candidate will be expected to define new standards in content focused marketing. The successful candidate will have the expertise to support thought leadership activity, serving as the expert voice in the market to position our brand, and execute content marketing strategy and plan. Candidate should have the analytical capacity, be both a creative thinker and execution master. Someone who thrives in a fast moving, evolving environment while partnering and working effectively cross functionally with business partners, Marketing partners, IT and Operations functions to drive marketing objectives.
