PayPal’s Reputation Management team, an organizationally critical group at the forefront of protecting and enhancing the company’s reputation, is looking to hire an experienced media relations professional to work closely with the group’s Senior Director to provide a full suite of external communications leadership and support for a variety of key customer and brand matters and issues management programs. Media relations areas of emphasis may include, but are not limited to: HR, Litigation, Government Relations, Regulatory matters, Information Security, Customer Issues, and Risk and Compliance situations. This professional may also situationally support PayPal and its affiliated brands, including Venmo and Honey. This media pro will also play a critical role in PayPal’s crisis communication management and response efforts and must be able to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution. We are looking for a hands-on, active leader who loves to write and engage with media and other influential third parties. This role presents a unique opportunity for someone who possesses experience managing challenging, reputation impacting media issues in high profile, globally relevant situations in fast paced environments.
