As our Philanthropy Copywriter you will write content for digital and print collateral materials, funding proposals, and donor reports that enable College Track to meet fundraising goals and serve thousands of scholars and alumni across the country. In addition to the Philanthropy team, the Philanthropy Copywriter will work in close partnership with the President & CEO’s Office and Education, Communication, and Program Evaluation and Research Departments.

You’ll know Philanthropy Copywriter is the right fit for you if…
You have a minimum of 3 - 5 years marketing or communications writing experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector. Individual donor and solicitation/appeal writing experience is preferred.
You have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
You have knowledge of fundraising techniques and strategies.
You have the ability to weave together qualitative information and data to create compelling narratives for a primarily individual donor audience.
You have the ability to manage and meet timelines and deadlines independently, navigating multiple, conflicting priorities.
You have a Bachelor’s degree.

This position is exempt.The full D.C. Metro salary range for this position is $72,845 - $98,555, with the exact salary depending on experience and location. New staff are rarely brought in at the top of the range to ensure internal equity while leaving room for salary growth during an employee’s time at College Track. We are committed to the growth and development of staff both through formal and informal opportunities.
