Pitches (Black History Month)

Deadline: 1 February 2024

Dread Central is seeking pitches from Black genre fans as part of our annual Black History Month programming! We’re accepting pitches now through February 1, 2024. If your idea specifically references Black History Month, please include that in the initial pitch so we’ll know it’s not something that could go up in March.

We’re specifically looking for Black writers at any experience level to share their perspectives on the genre. If you have an idea about a specific movie, subgenre, filmmakers, books, graphic novels, an issue with a trend, or even about your experience as a horror fan in a genre that doesn’t always treat us with respect then we want to hear from you. The possibilities are endless, and we want them all.
