Freelance Copywriter

Location: 100% Remote (Prefer someone Boston-based)

Pay Rate: Up to $54.50/hour (DOE)

Work Schedule: Project-Based (Open to hours, I.E. after hours / weekends)

Planet Interactive is seeking a remote Copywriter based in the Boston area to assist one of our finance clients.

Responsibilities:

Write clear, compelling, and quality content that connects with target audiences and enhances brand awareness, including blog posts, eBooks, white papers, case studies, email and web copy, product descriptions, and more.
Complete writing assignments within project specifications and deadlines.
Revise and edit content before publication.
Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment and consistency in branding, style, creative layout, and messaging.
Suggest topics for content consideration.

Qualifications:

Minimum three to seven years of professional work experience, with at least two to three years in a content writing role.
Experience writing B2B content and working in the financial services sector.
Excellent writing/copywriting skills.
Impeccable use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Creative and strategic-thinking skills.
Team player.
Self-motivated, and enjoy taking an idea and running with it.
Flexible, and comfortable adapting to changing priorities and writing needs.
Knowledge of SEO best practices, optimizing content for organic search, and recommending photos and visual assets to accompany content a plus but not required.
