We connect, inform, and hold to account communities of decision-makers and those who seek to influence them. POLITICO Audio reaches influential audiences with our unique brand of authoritative and non-partisan reporting on the people and ideas driving behind-the-scenes decision-making in politics and policy. We are seeking a tech policy enthusiast to host and produce our new POLITICO Tech podcast. POLITICO Tech will be an authoritative and engaging daily briefing on the politics and policy of technology for an influential audience with skin in the game. You will deliver insider news and analysis on efforts by policymakers, industry leaders, and other power players to shape and regulate the shifting virtual landscape – and to disrupt legacy power structures. From crypto and the metaverse to cybersecurity and AI, you’ll work with specialist reporters and editors in our newsroom to report on how policymakers are making their mark on the industries of the future. Based in our Arlington, Virginia, headquarters, you will lead the production and host daily episodes (publishing Monday-Friday). This role requires a collaborative spirit, creative flair, and organizational skills to execute within the often-short production time frame of news-driven daily show. You’ll have freedom to experiment and be expected to constantly iterate to improve the show.
