POLITICO is seeking a creative, entrepreneurial editor to help lead a dynamic team of journalists who cover some of the hottest stories in the world: The political and policy collisions between governments and Silicon Valley, the race to outpace China on innovation, the herculean effort to protect data from ever-more-sophisticated hackers and the way tech giants are changing the global power dynamic. You’ll work with our technology and cybersecurity editor — in collaboration with a wide cast of colleagues covering North America, Europe and Asia — to offer our audiences unmatched insight into the thinking and actions of policymakers and regulators, as well as how private industry is trying to shape the rules of the road. We believe the best journalists not only report the news but hold those in power accountable for their actions, and we’re looking for someone to help a team of creative and enterprising reporters achieve that goal.
