Political Data Reporter

POLITICO is seeking a tenacious reporter to join our Politics team to cover the midterms and 2024 election from a data-driven perspective. The reporter will produce minute-by-minute coverage and broader enterprise stories on campaign finance, voting and demographic trends and more, both individually and in partnership with other reporters. The job requires a love of data and expertise working with it, from finding a newsy nugget to identifying a big national trend. Knowledge of politics, and a passion for it, is a must. We’re looking for a reporter who knows how to work a beat and combine public data with source reporting and behind-the-scenes digging. Candidates must be eager to collaborate with the rest of the Politics team and other teams across POLITICO.
