As a Public Relations Strategist, you’ll help enhance and protect the Principal global brand reputation through strategic communications, public relations and media relations with a focus on the U.S. market. You’ll serve the needs of business unit clients by securing positive media coverage surrounding business milestones, product launches, though leadership, industry trends, executive activities and more. Write and edit a variety of communications materials including speeches, talking points, emails, video scripts, social media posts, and presentations on industry and Principal-specific topics. Frequently handle sensitive or confidential information. Assist management in developing and refining executive and enterprise messaging and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to ensure consistent, integrated messaging on issues that matter the most to our brand, our business, and our customers. Measure the effectiveness of executive and enterprise communications, and produce a variety of reports to support strategic, data-driven decision-making. Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
