Raytheon Technologies is looking for a detailed oriented, efficient and a team player Report Editor to support a team of cyber engineers and technicians in the Northern Virginia area. The successful candidate will edit and proofread documents such as technical reports, publications, and proposals in support of the team.
Key responsibilities:
The successful candidate will edit, format, and publish finished intelligence products for distribution to various customers and must be able to follow deadlines and produce quality work with a prompt turnaround. The successful candidate will edit reports, publications, proposals, and correspondence to ensure quality and clarity of content, uniformity in style, consistency of format, and accuracy in all produced content.
The successful candidate will be providing feedback to other employees that will further improve their writing and adherence to guidelines.
Skills, Experience and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) with at least Five (5) years of professional experience working on projects of medium size, scope, and complexity.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience drafting, compiling, reviewing, and researching a wide assortment of topics feeding finished publications/products.
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint including styles, templates, charts, and efficient formatting skills
Strong reporting knowledge to deliver valuable and engaging content that is appropriate for the audience to consume
Strong writing and editing skills to support content quality for all written and visual elements of reports
Strong organizational and file management skills
Desired skills:
A working level understanding of the production of DA intelligence assessments, to include knowledge of DA writing style and an understanding of modern DA analytic tradecraft standards.
Prior experience working on or providing editorial review of national intelligence agencies or DoD finished written products
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in a related field with at least Five (5) additional years related professional experience
