Due to our sustained growth and our ambitious future growth plans, we are now looking for a Content Editor to join us, covering Somerset for SomersetLive as part of our network of Live brands. This is a rare opportunity for a talented journalist to take up a senior role leading a creative team of reporters. You will play a pivotal role in our strategy to continue to grow our audience at scale, to deepen our relationship with existing readers and to reach our underserved communities. This role exists to find and report on the stories and issues which matter to our readers in a way which ensures as many people as possible find, discover and respond to our work, helping us to have a positive impact on the local communities we serve. This role would be the ideal step for somebody with newsdesk experience or for a senior reporter looking for that next challenge. You’ll be passionate about reporting on local news in a dynamic and eye-catching way, bringing features, reviews and what’s on to our readers right here in Somerset.
