Associate Editor/Assistant Editor

The successful candidate will be an experienced financial journalist or editor who is adept at performing quickly under pressure. He or she will be able to edit copy for content and style, and liaise with reporters and editors to produce timely, compelling and insightful stories that appeal to loan syndication professionals and a wider readership.

Copy will be published on Refinitiv’s real time news platforms including LoanConnector, LPC’s online product for syndication professionals, IFRe and Eikon and publications including LPC’s Goldsheets Magazine and IFR Magazine.

He or she will be flexible and able to handle a variety of challenges and deadlines across personnel, bureaus and timezones and anticipate any potential bottlenecks to maintain a smooth flow of copy. The ability to interpret and use data effectively is essential.

Priority will be given to candidates with experience of writing and editing financial news for a news agency, national newspaper or magazine, but consideration will also be given to reporters with strong writing and editing skills.
