Remitly is hiring a creative and dynamic Digital PR Lead to join our team and lead our global Digital PR and outreach programs. You will be reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded SEO, with a strong digital PR background. You have a passion for creative campaigns and are adept at building or commissioning high quality creative that earns coverage. You are confident in demonstrating how Digital PR and acquiring high quality links drive business results, and are able to communicate that to senior stakeholders. You will also have strong experience working for high growth ecommerce and/or tech companies.

You Will

Set and execute the global digital PR and outreach strategy across owned and branded media.
Work with agencies and partner teams (PR, Marketing, Business Management) to transform Remitly business strategy and remittance industry trends into compelling stories for media.
Build & nurture relationships with writers, bloggers, journalists and influencers
Drive brand awareness, trust, and authority by delivering creative, SEO-friendly campaigns that acquire high quality coverage and links while amplifying your efforts across our owned channels (including our blog, social media, and website).
Create standard KPIs and build reporting on your programs to highlight contribution to business performance (particularly how your activities drive Organic performance)
Bring a creative, business-savvy and scrappy approach to how Remitly can build brand awareness
Be part of the global SEO squad and help represent regional content and tech SEO in prioritization discussions

You Have

5+ years experience working in an SEO agency or as an in-house SEO where you were responsible for digital PR and outreach programs
Experience managing campaigns across multiple geographies and languages
Deep expertise in link building is a must, familiarity and experience with Content and Technical SEO is a big plus
Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with a wide variety of stakeholders.
Confident data skills and experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Stat, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRush etc
A thirst for knowledge and invest time staying on top of the latest SEO trends, technologies, and practices
Excellent writing and English language skills are a must, the ability to write and communicate in another language is a plus.
