Reporter

Digital Frontier is a new London-based media and events company that steps beyond the daily news cycle to produce deeply reported stories on the future of business, finance and culture. We’re currently building out our team of reporters and editors, before launching in December 2023.

Reporters will work on either our Future of Business, Future of Finance or Future of Culture teams. They will be responsible for finding and writing longer-form, exclusive stories for our website and quarterly print magazine.

Successful applicants will be expected to work at least three days a week from our office in central London.

Responsibilities

● Sourcing and writing articles with unique angles that take the reader far beyond the daily headlines

● Developing relationships with relevant sources and effectively conducting interviews with them

● Working with the rest of the editorial team to generate different and interesting content ideas that have the potential to reach a wide audience

● Attending regular editorial meetings, with three days a week in our office in central London

● Contributing to Digital Frontier’s audio and visual output

● Providing input for Digital Frontier’s events, including moderating panels

Skills

● Talented journalist with a great eye for a story and a minimum of two year’s relatable and relevant experience

● Experience sourcing, pitching and reporting on stories across a variety of subjects

● Hardworking, proactive and able to work semi-independently

● Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal communication skills

● Happy to work directly with our events team to devise content for small and large events

● Open to participating in podcast and video content, both in terms of content generation and doing in-studio recording

Salary Range

● £30,000-£40,000
