The Content Editors have responsibility for daily updates and maintenance of relevant material in the products' databases. This position will be based in Manila, utilizing a hybrid working model.
The content available in Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence consists of a library of legal and regulatory content from several different jurisdictions from around the world that clients use to ensure they satisfy their regulatory and legal obligations and a stream of event monitoring to ensure they stay current with the latest developments.
About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Content Editor I, you will:
Identify, capture and convert source documents for Rulebooks content
Log work orders and work streams for Tracker content.
Summarize Regulatory Event documents for English-language content.
Identify, extract and capture event metadata, including related rules
Updates rule text in line with amending documents
Individual and Leadership Development:
May act as a coach/mentor for other editors
May lead small projects or initiatives
Good understanding of Rulebooks and Tracker processes
Expertise in using editorial tools effectively
Relationships:
Good communication with Content Leads and other managers within Content & Editorial Ops
Good communication with other editors within Content Ops
Seeks and responds well to feedback from trainers, leads, etc.
Willing to ask questions and stay curious about the work and our customers
Certifications/ Education:
Bachelor’s (or higher) degree or equivalent
Strong preference for para-legal, financial/banking, or related education or experience
Professional Experience
Demonstrates proficiency in editing with Thomson Reuters systems and processes
Understands Thomson Reuters publications and products related to editor’s specific responsibilities.
