Reuters is seeking experienced business journalists with an established source network and a proven history of breaking news to enhance its coverage of everything from India’s IT behemoths to its biggest consumer brands; and new-age startups to the sprawling GCCs that drive innovation at some of the world’s largest MNCs.
The reporters would have to be comfortable covering everything from boardroom battles to succession sagas, and writing agenda-setting pieces for a global audience on relevant themes such as how AI is reshaping the future of work. The ideal candidates should have a strong grasp of the Indian markets, how Asia’s No.3 economy works and evolving policy concerns that could affect some of the biggest industries and companies operating in India. The successful candidates would work closely with their manager and colleagues in other bureaus to ensure we stay ahead of our competitors in delivering news to clients, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality. The ideal candidates should be good writers, effective communicators, and consummate team players, who are comfortable with both crunching data and tapping sources to dig up compelling stories for our audience in India and overseas.
