Do you love reading case law? We are looking for a diligent Legal Editor to join our team of experienced editors working on Westlaw and the Australian Digest.

To be successful in the role you will love reading case law. You’ll enjoy learning, be receptive to instruction and feedback and be comfortable asking for help. You will be a self-starter who can manage your own workload, while working collaboratively within a team environment. You will be able to work within our publishing conventions and priorities.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Legal Editor, you will:
Classifying cases in accordance with the Australian Digest classification key;
Adding case relationships and litigation history to the cases database;
Writing digest notes for significant cases
About You
You're a fit for the role of Legal Editor if your background includes:
Australian Law degree/Editorial experience an advantage
Strong legal research skills and familiarity with Australian legal resources
Ability to interpret, analyse, organise, and communicate complex legal material
Strong attention to detail and understanding of its importance from a customer perspective
Ability to adapt quickly and respond positively to change (a sense of humour helps)
